What A Treat [Aug. 31st, 2007|09:58 pm]
Entry time. Woo.

I've done absolutely nothing this summer, I almost feel guilty. But really, the rest of the year could be my summer vacation if I wanted. No school for me, none.

Me and Theresa went to the Exhibition this year, it was okay. We weren't there long 'cause Theresa got nausous and almost puked on one of the rides so we had to leave early. I was disappointed but it's not like I've never been to the Exhibition before.

Who doesn't like the Merry-go-round?

We got in trouble for holding the bunnies xP

He kept poking his head over, it looked funny.

I got to go to Regina Beach for fish and chips with my Dad, Mom and Nana.

I'm not a fish person but this shit was so yummy.

We were only there for an hour or so, I was sad 'cause I wanted to go play on the beach.

The other day I was sad (surprise, surprise!) 'cause I had no friends, so I decided to put on my favourite unicorn panties, go out and buy happiness.

'Cause they're that awesome.

I got these sweet butterfly bracelets from a dollar store, they make me happy.

Another awesome Value Village find.

Now I'm just showing off my headphones.

Kitty shoes

Hrhrhr, I'm not even going to bother reposting the rules because no one else reads my journal xP I don't really care though, as long as someone is reading it.

"Loves literature"

I remember back in the day when you'd rather read Robert Munsch than anything else. >_> What are your favourite novels? Any certain kind of genre?
That underwear is EPIC WIN. My favourite underwear has Sailor Moon on them.

Uhm, it is kinda hard for me to specify a genre o.< I don't much care for fantasy or mystery but I can respect the books if they are nicely written. I am vary fussy about what I read, if it does not suck me in the first couple chapters I usually end up dropping it. I lack dedication, which is why I prefer poetry anthologies. Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, William Blake... List goes on ^^; The only novels that I absolutely loved were, Lolita, Animal Farm and Pan's Labyrinth(Fantasy, I know but still, AMAZING FUCKING BOOK)

The underwear I found also had thongs with unicorns, I unno, the thought of unicorns up someone's crack is kinda wrong >

Okay, ohmygod. Jesus Christ. SOMEONE MY AGE WHO GENUINELY LIKES POETRY. Right, RIGHT? And no cheesy stuff, too. :'D Emily Dickinson is my favourite, of course, then Sylvia Plath and then Maya Angelou. Sappho, too, but she's not quite in the same league.
I love neurotic poets the best, really. >_>

YOU'RE NOT ALONE! I get all drooly/giddy when I read some good poetry. That's why I love Lolita so much, the way it was written is amazing. I also can't help but love Egdar Allan Poe... I hate how over rated he has become because his work is so beautiful T.T Half the retards probably don't even understand what he is writing about it just gets all "OMG he rites bout death!!" I'm twitchy about that ><; I've read some of Sylvia Plath's stuff. She is also fucking amazing.

I wouldn't say I get giddy because I like the sad crap the most. XD But I'm definitely prone to fits of emotion.
I'm a fantasy and life issues person when it comes to novels, though. My mom's collection would make a lot of enthusiasts cry, so I read a lot from there, however. I'm sure we're one of the very few families that can have a conversation about Cat's Eye at the dinner table. i loev thems. ;__;
Anyways, that's the way I feel about 90% of the people who claim they like Shakespeare; I feel they do it because they think it boosts their intellectual standing.
I can place where almost every quote from Twelfth Night comes from, man. DON'T TRY AND BE AWESOMER THAN ME BECAUSE I CAN PERFORM THE WHOLE FREAKING PLAY BY MYSELF.
>_> It's not really at that point, but I will be able to do it someday.

Your headphones are nifty. :'D Mine were supposed to be nifty, but didn't turn out as much. Though they still rock. Uhh. Yea.
